"My partner works away with the Army and is currently training to be a pilot. My daughter misses him so much and cries at the window so I have made a small version of him in shape of a cushion which she takes everywhere when he is away."
CAUTION: " As i was driving home last night, a car hit me from behind on Toorak rd. As I got out of my car to inspect the damage, 5-6 people got out of the car and assaulted me with a baseball bat. They took my car keys, made me unlock & clear my phone. I was hit numerous times with the baseball bat. My glasses smashed along with my watch as I was attempting to shield my face. The police have advised me that this is a known gang to them committing these crimes all over Melbourne. 4 of the assailants were of African descent and 2 were Islanders. By the time i was released from hospital, numerous other crimes were committed using my car in Cranbourne and Vermont South. According to the police this gang is targeting new Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Lexus and VW cars. If you are driving and somebody "bumps" your car from behind, CALL THE POLICE before exiting your car. The "gang" is operating all over Melbourne so regardless of what area you are in, please be vigilant and take care."
Last week from my veranda at the end of a really tough day of arguing with Bill and kids screaming, I was even too tired for my beloved wine... All of the sudden my entire house turned purple, I came outside, absorbed it and just like that my "fuck the world" attitude was washed away. #perthlove
It seems that democracy in the U.S. has chosen to MAKE AMERICA HATE AGAIN. As I write, a storm rages over Gosford. It seems ominous and apt. I am shocked about many things but most of all by the emotional energy I have invested in a foreign election.
In a world where unity is so desperately needed the people have chosen division. I just received a phone call from a gloating Hanson supporter who felt emboldened by this result, predicting that Pauline could be our PM. A stretch I admit but the sentiment is truly frightening.
Tonight I despair. Tomorrow we will return, even more earnestly, to our calling to build bridges, not walls.
I went through a stage of only painting Elephants and they were always the first to sell.
I never really knew what it was about Elephants but we all just love them so much. So I just found out that the female elephants lead the herds.. They are a matriarchal society ruled by the oldest and the biggest female. They have strong social bonds with each other, mourn deaths and celebrate births. Now I know why we all love Elephants so much.
