"Just wanted to share this really sweet moment I had this morning. Today was the first time I went out for breakfast alone with my 8 week old son, I had just received my breakfast and hot chocolate when Jaxon started crying wanting his booby so of course I fed him, after a few minutes this older lady walked up to me, I was scared, thinking she was gonna tell me to put my boob away, instead she starts cutting up my breakfast for me and said "what a good mama you are, we can't have your food getting cold can we?" I honestly could have cried -- loveliest lady EVER!!"

This week I saw my daughter burst into tears at the school sports carnival.
Not because she lost a race but because didn't even run it.
You see my girl is a dreamer, every report card has always stated that she's off with the fairys, that she struggles to focus, that she giggles and Day dreams out the window, imagination running wild. She always thinks I'll be upset, I never am.
So when they called her name to run in the race, she wasn't paying any attention. And she missed it.
And I went across to see what happened and her little face couldn't contain the disappointment in herself anymore and she burst into tears.
So I asked her, do you know what being a dreamer makes you? It makes you an explorer, a wild one, a rule pusher, a world changer, it makes you everything and anything. Do you know what running a race makes you? A good race runner.
And her wet little eyes smiled.
Coz every kid has their strengths, concentration isn't hers, but you'll never meet a 7 year old as bravely wild and sweet as this one.
