What an incredible video thanks to Emma Darby who was holidaying in Tassie and filmed this amazing superpod just off Wineglass Bay on the Freycinet Peninsula :)
There was also a superpod, of over 1000 dolphins, yesterday at Eaglehawk Neck on the Tasman Peninsula. This time of the year is when dolphins love visiting our waters. Some of the reasons they form superpods, with dolphins from many different families, are to gather food, to mate and simply to socialise... and of course they want to do it in Tasmania :) #Tasmania
We love to see your videos. You can inbox us or post to our wall. Then we can share with the world.
Police have given a move along direction at a Mount Isa school after a small, orange lizard-like creature with a yellow belly and flaming tail was found on the property. The creature answers to the name Charmander.
Police are seeking public assistance to #catchemall before any more creatures trespass on private premises. #whenwillitbeover
As the suns sets over The Canberra Hospital tonight I enjoy it with the innocence of a child. I wonder how many sun sets do I have left? None of us know, but then I realise that that isn't what counts. What really matters is enjoying the here and now. My cancer is growing in my liver and I have just started more chemotherapy to try to buy me some more time with my wonderful friends and family. As I grow older, and watch my children do the same, I realise that there is never a good time to lose a parent, so I must focus on today and enjoy having them by my side, even if Willoughby always beats me at Connect Four, and Hamilton makes paper planes that fly much further than mine. I love my family, I love this village. #nowisawesome. XXConnie P.S. Please don't worry about me too much just yet. My medical team are working hard and I've still got good treatment options.

The ACCC is urging Australians to watch out for tax time scams after more than $1 million was reported lost to Scamwatch already this year.
If you receive an email or phone call out of the blue from ‘the ATO’ claiming that you are entitled to a refund, that you owe money or asking you to confirm, update or disclose confidential details like your tax file number, press ‘delete’ or just hang up. I’ve loved sharing my life on social media, but there’s one special part of my life I haven’t shared with you all until now…this last year I fell in LOVE with the most beautiful person. His name is Ash, he's my best friend and he truly gets me and has made me very happy!
I’ve always considered my sexuality to be fluid and I’ve never been interested in labels which categorise and divide. I’m only interested in celebrating what we all have in common, the freedom to share the most precious beautiful gift that holds this magnificent universe together…LOVE.
I’m proud to now share our story in the hope that other misfits like myself who don't quite know where they fit in life won’t give up. LOVE yourself, and I hope one day LOVE finds us all! And for those who don't understand us...I hope you get there one day. Check out this weeks WHO Magazine where Ash and I shared our full story freely for you to read. 😁❤️
"This woman, Kaylen, at Sports Clips in Charleston did more for my heart than she will probably ever realize. Haircuts with Isaiah are no small feat. He hates having anything near his ears, the sound of clippers sends him into a tailspin...this evening was no different. I was ready to give up, but she wasn't. She sat on the floor with my baby in her lap, and she cut his hair. They talked about Dory and Christmas, and she even let him spray her with her water bottle. Autism can be so very, very hard, but people like this make our days just a little easier."
Shepherd Day Vine was born Thursday arvo and both @sophie_vine and I have been staring at him ever since! Soph was a champion and both her and Shep are going great. Van is going between obsessed with him and not phased by him attitudes! #VansLittleBro #From3to4ofUs #Shepherd
When I was 13 my mum had this guy to her new boyfriend. Like all 13 year olds I thought my life was over.
My HALF brother was coming to ruin my life.
I was so wrong. I had been kicked out of 2 high schools and had a thorough distaste for all authority. So one day in my third high school at 15 years old, I walked into class after having 40 half days absent (wagged) and the teacher (who didn't know who I was) slammed an exam in front of me. The exam was to write an essay on something we loved, I wrote it on my little brother Will. As a kid who failed everything.. I got an A+.
I often think about all the times that I yelled at my mum because she was too busy with her "new kids" when she was actually giving me the best gift of my life.
There is no such thing in my family as half siblings.
It is with a heavy heart we have farewelled Misha our much loved Rothschild Giraffe. Misha had been suffering from chronic osteoarthritis and despite months of treatment it was clear she was in pain and increasingly unable to walk properly. Sadly the difficult decision was made to end her suffering and give her a dignified end to her life. Misha was made globally famous by the iconic image, The Kiss. The photograph of her tending to her calf resonated around the world, helping to raise the profile of the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. Farewell sweet girl, you are beautifully immortalised in that photo but will live on in our hearts for much longer: http://ow.ly/tBcw3009P9w
The head of Fair Work Building Construction says he doesn't keep an official diary, his Chief Operating Officer says he doesn't know where he is or what he's doing... It's just bizarre. This is the guy that the Turnbull Government pays $440,000 a year to be a union-buster. Please Like and Share if you think this stinks.
