We are so happy to share with you that we are being blessed with another little superhero (or princess!) this August!
We are overjoyed but very nervous at the same time. We haven't allowed ourselves to get too excited until our scan this morning as the scars of losing Riley run deeply.
Our daughter is over the moon and keeps cuddling and kissing my tummy. She asked if the baby could be Riley again, and we explained that it would be a different baby but one that we would love just as much. She seemed excited to consider the possibility that it might be a girl, and has tried to insist that it be named after her hermit crabs 'Flower' and 'Rosie' - lucky baby!
The morning sickness has been tough, but my husband grins whenever I am feeling ill as it seems to remind him that it's really happening, that we're really having another dearly wanted child.
... And yes, I will definitely be having a third trimester booster!
Just wanted to write and say what a great time it looks like you've been having lately. From what we can see, you've been spending time at Grants Picnic Ground, Puffing Billy Railway and the Healesville Sanctuary. We think nanna might be along on the trip and your little boy is really cute too.
How do we know all this? Some kind person handed in your camera to Frankston Police Station yesterday after it was found in a taxi and we checked the SD card. We thought you might be missing it so we've posted a pic here in the hope someone knows who you are and can give you a message to call Senior Constable Ben Vandenberg at the station on 9784 5555.
Hope you've had a great weekend and are staying warm.
Anyone lose their wallet....? One woman, who appears to have celebrated a bit too hard, has gained a few seconds of fame speaking to a 9 News reporter after finding a wallet on Melbourne Cup day in Brisbane.
