Every birthday is special at Adelaide Zoo but today we’re celebrating an extra special birthday… Miss C our beautiful Hoffmann’s Two-toed Sloth turns a whopping 43 today! The oldest known sloth in the world and the only sloth in Australia, we consider ourselves pretty lucky to be home to Miss C. The average life expectancy of a sloth in the wild is only 10-12 years old, so each day with our golden oldie is a blessing. Today, Miss C celebrated in her trademark style with a few nanna naps and some of her favourite treats. Make sure you drop into our Nocturnal House this week to wish her a very happy birthday! 🎉🎉🎉
We spoke to Boomer Harvey about playing footy for North Heidelberg this year with his brother Shane.
"I don't have to worry about doing pre season for these amateurs till 2030. I am 56 years old and 20 times fitter than any other prick there.
It will be good playing with my bro again, I'll have one player I can trust will be able to kick the ball to me.
I already have a game plan to pitch to the coach.
We recruit the tallest player in Victoria, he taps the ball down to me in the centre ball up every time. I tuck the ball under my arm, have at least 3 bounces and a bit of candy selling and kick a goal.
And put Shane at full back, he's not fucking beating my most goals in a game record again.
Dad is worried he would get horrific sunburn if he ever stepped out of my shadow. I use to call Shane SPF 50."
i think Guy Sebastian has one of the best voices this country has ever produced. One thing i learnt from doing a sesh with him is that he is also an INSANELY talented writer. A lot of people brush off a lot of pop music because majority of it is made with the main agenda to make money, rather than dope art. There is so much dope pop out there though that is incredible, but because it's "pop" for some people (depending on what their ego has them identified with), they will dismiss it as garbage. I love anything that is dope. I don't care about genre or other peoples idea of what music should sound like, if my ears and heart enjoy it then that's enough for me. I think having a broad appreciation and love of all types of music has helped me evolve as an MC and as an artist in general. The best way to evolve is to try new things and go out of your comfort zone! Anyway sorry for the rant but this just blew my fucking mind and got me mouth shitting... peace and love https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y320mrv7Sd0

Cameron says: "WOW! Really pushed the camera to the limits in the low light. No tripods allowed, so all handheld. Amazing rock structures."
Newdegate Cave is the largest tourist cave in Australia which occurs in dolomite, rather than limestone. Its richly decorated chambers began forming tens of millions of years ago. It was actually discovered exactly 100 years ago! Don't miss the opportunity to take a tour of the cave with qualified Parks and Wildlife Service guides.
Newdegate Cave is within the Hastings Caves State Reserve which offers visitors a variety of experiences, from relaxing in the warm waters of a thermal springs pool, walking in the rich forests of the reserve and, the unique experience of exploring the incredibly beautiful Newdegate Cave. Both the thermal pool and the trail which leads through the surrounding forests are accessible to wheelchair users. #Tasmania
We have also include a wonderful 2 minute video (in the comments section) showing the journey from Bruny Island all the way to Hastings Cave, culminating with a fascinating view inside Newdegate Cave... We hop you enjoy :)
