A divorced dad has melted hearts all over the internet with a post explaining why he surprised his ex-wife with flowers and a gift on her birthday this year.
"I'm raising two little men. The example I set for how I treat their mum is going to significantly shape how they see and treat women and affect their perception of relationships. I think even more so in my case because we are divorced. So if you aren't modeling good relationship behavior for your kids, get your stuff together. Rise above it and be an example. This is bigger than you," he wrote. #9ACA
Look at this great guy, Thomas! He is so cool. He came all the way to my Instagram page to leave a comment on my photo saying he'd love to see someone "take a dump" in my mouth! What a brave guy, using the Internet to work out his masculine insecurities. You go, Glen Coco!
ETA: Thomas doesn't work at Goodness Gracious Cafe. I'm assuming he just went for food there, because even assholes recognise delicious tucker when they see it. That's no joke by the way, their menu looks ace.
Tonight’s ‘Murder Uncovered’ program will be very tough and emotional none more so than for the loved ones, friends and colleagues of the late NSW Police Constable Peter Justin FORSYTH.
We would like to say thank you to his family and Constables SEMPLE and NEVILLE for their bravery in coming forward to share what is undoubtedly so raw and difficult. Our many thanks also extends to the police officers who attended and investigated as we can’t fathom how difficult it must have been when it is one of their own.
Through your courage and stories, the ‘Bravest of the brave’ will never be forgotten and will live in all our hearts forevermore.
We send you and your families our strength, thoughts and love. Stand tall and know that he is without doubt watching on with immense pride and gratitude.
Constable Forsyth, thank you for the heroism, dedication and service you have given to the police force and our communities. We will forever be in debt to you for what you done for us.
It does not matter how much time may pass as the sacrifices, selflessness, love and friendship is always in the hearts and minds of those whom have been honoured to have known you and to those who appreciate you.
Your family, Constable Semple and Neville will always be in our prayers.
May you Rest In Peace.
VALE CONSTABLE Peter Justin FORSYTH NSW POLICE 28 February 1998
"About 11.25pm on 27 February 1998 Constable Forsyth was walking to his home in Ultimo with Constables Semple and Neville when they were approached by a young male selling Ecstacy tablets (an illegal drug). After speaking with this person and a second offender, Constable Semple informed them that they were police officers and attempted to make an arrest. One of the offenders then produced a knife and stabbed Constable Forsyth and Constable Semple before running off. They were pursued for a short distance by Constable Neville before he quickly returned to assist his injured colleagues. The injured police were soon conveyed to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital however Constable Forsyth unfortunately died of his wounds at 12.14am. Constable Semple underwent surgery and later recovered. The Constable was born in 1969 and joined the New South Wales Police in 1995. At the time of his death he was stationed at Leichardt.'"
It's time to change the way we think about housing.
It's not a privilege, it's a human right.
With more than 105,000 people experiencing homelessness, around 200,000 families on the waiting list for social housing and 850,000 plus households experiencing housing stress it is becoming one of the clearest indicators of inequality in our prosperous Australia.
