Ireland, one place that has always held a special place for Mick Fanning. While he was taking time to reset in 2016 – it only made sense that he returned to the land of the Irish, where his family heritage runs deep.
Join Mick as he goes home to surf, reflect and think about what's ahead...
Is communist china just printing paper money via their state bank to pay for all these purchases around the world, when in fact they do not have the reserve? You can see their new silk road from Melbourne Port, Newcastle Port, Darwin Port. Communist china owned, chinese workers fly in/fly out, wages paid in china and Australia receives nothing. Labour and NLP again outsmarted by communist china.
Actually the truth is, yesterday in Port Augusta, Constables Barwick and Southern discovered this cheeky pet Corella suffering severe heat exhaustion and conveyed him to the local vet for assessment.
With temperatures reaching around 38C in most areas across the state in the next fews days, please put pets indoors if possible or ensure they have access to plenty of shade and fresh water to keep them hydrated!

Those magnificent men (and women) in their flying machines! Some incredible footage of NSW RFS aviation resources in action at the Wuuluman fire between Wellington and Mudgee. The DC10 Southern Belle and C130 Thor have been used to drop retardant at the fire - and it's impressive seeing them up close, as it is with the AirCrane helicopter. Thanks to Todd McCann for the video. He's traveled all the way from Tuncurry as part of a strike team, helping local crews.

Dear Destroyers, Please join the Global March for Women. The Australian marches are on January 21, which is just six days away.
Why should you march? Read on #whyimarch
What is the Women’s March?
The Women’s March is a now a global event which began as a truly grassroots effort. In the immediate aftermath of the United States’ election a grandmother, living in Hawaii, devastated by the Trump victory, decided to take to Facebook and call for a Women’s March on Washington to be held on the first full day of the Trump Administration.
Within a single day, over 10,000 people joined the march and a grassroots movement was born. Now, nearly one-million people are expected at the march in Washington. There are sister marches planned in all 50 of the United States and in 20 countries around the world.
Our march in Australia will be one of the very first to take place following the inauguration and we will take to the streets while Donald J Trump and his supporters are celebrating in ballrooms across Washington.
Why are we marching?
We are marching in support of women’s rights and human rights.
We are marching against bigotry and hatred.
We are marching as a first act of activism in 2017 and to encourage everyone to get involved in the issues that matter to them.
This event is an INCLUSIVE event to present a united voice for human rights and human decency. This march is a reminder against complacency.

Stand with us in support of women marching around the world to protest against sexism, bigotry, and hatred.
Here's stuff you can do:
1) volunteer with a group in their community;
2) pay attention to what politicians are doing; and,
3) tell them what we think, and to support women (artists, businesses, etc).
We look forward to marching with you for the protection of our rights, our safety, our families, our health and the health of our planet. We recognise that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength in civil society.
