After finishing his first day at school, all little Walker wanted to do was rush to his twin brother’s grave to tell him all about it. http://honey.nine.com.au/2017/02/10/08/24/little-boy-tells-twin-brother-all-about-his-first-day-at-school#Gsl9ja1GOXU58WAO.99/?ocid=todayfb
This 66 year old albatross seems determined to prove that age is just a number. After becoming the oldest bird to ever lay an egg, she’s now gone one better. Despite many doubters, she’s just hatched that egg to reveal this adorable little chick.
Wildlife officials first noticed “Wisdom” sitting on an egg back in December at her home on Midway Atoll in the Pacific Ocean; an island where she was first observed back in the 1950’s. It’s estimated that since then she has flown nearly 5 million kilometres (3 million miles) in search for food.
But despite all that travel she still sticks by her mate, a much younger male albatross nicknamed Akeakamai. Laysan Albatross mate for life, meaning he often spends long periods out at sea just to feed their family. So despite distance, age and time, these two have managed to ensure that love finds a way.
In the words of B-Rabbit "Snap back to reality, Oh there goes gravity!" Yep yesterday was fab but today we are back to walking round in bra & undies, copping a few spews and the almighty mum-bun. Big thanks again to @lauradouglas_mua @hairbyjessandliv_jayohair + @graylabelstore for getting me ready and helping me to stooge you all into thinking that's actually what I look like.
With the demise of dictatorships in the world there is mass migration of people between continents. They bring with them varied cultures, experiences, expectations and this mixture of people has put the meaning of democracy in question. Freedom of speech, expression, women's liberation, equality of all genders. Is it not time for the democratic leaders of the world to define new rules so that migration doesn't disturb the peace and harmony of the community?
One of the most common questions in asked, is how do I deal with 'trolls'? And I normally don't respond as not to give negative people any recognition on my page. But it's not just them. It's the constant judging from people who don't like you or don't agree with what you say, yet continue to be one of your biggest fans by following your every move. It's friends not supporting you, family, associates, other bloggers who 'don't like you' and yet continually have something to say (and yeah.. it always gets back). Do you know how I honestly deal with it? I run my own race. Everyday of my life. I have zero interest in these people, but if they want to be interested in me just to critique... well, I know how I'd rather spend my day and it's evidently much more enjoyable than yours! I've had this care free attitude since I was a toddler and I still do to this day. I just do ME and that involves not being nasty for no reason. I'm one step ahead. I sleep really well at night, holding my head up high (ok not while sleeping cause #ouch but you get me). And I think that's a great quality to have. I walked out of high school 8 years ago as an 18 year old with a bitch of an attitude, and one thing I pride myself on in my life now is how I've grown, matured and developed as a young woman. I'm now a 26 year old woman with a good life & a gorgeous family. I'm happy. I love life: the good, the bad, the totally and utterly shitty days. Everyone needs to just focus on their life, their happiness. I'll leave you with another cracker that I LOVE -> "People only rain on your parade because they're jealous of your sun and tired of their shade." 👊🏻❤️
