“It’s the strangest thing,” Minister Cash told the ABC Insiders program. “I couldn’t figure out why I was hardly paying any tax at all on my huge parliamentary salary, and then I remembered it was because I own so many investment properties. So I looked it up, and that’s when I realised that I’d bought the house next door a few months ago. You know how these things happen.”

☑️We have laws about seat-belts, to protect our children.
☑️We have laws about smoking, to protect our children.
☑️And we have laws encouraging vaccination, to protect our children.
While I think parents usually know what's best for their kids, sometimes good policies are needed to help protect children. This is especially the case for vaccination, at a time where there is so much misleading and false information offered to parents.
Most importantly, we believe our children have a right to safety and health. Their right to health is more important than a parent's right to access non-compulsory community childcare facilities. These proposed laws will help to keep children safe from preventable diseases.
The current "No Jab, No Pay" policy means there are still unvaccinated children attending childcare centres (but their parents have to pay higher fees). This new policy would mean that all children MUST be vaccinated to attend child-care. This is a far better (and fairer) way of protecting the precious babies and toddlers who may not have received all their doses of vaccines. It will also help to protect kids who have serious health complications and are particularly vulnerable to these diseases.
