So tomorrow is VALENTINES DAY! And do you know why annoys me MOST about Valentine's Day!?! The mother f+cking cranky pants who proclaim that "Valentine's Day shouldn't be the only day you show someone you love them" or "I don't need flowers to be reminded I'm loved" well you know what NEITHER DO I but shut your damn trap and let LOVEBIRDS BE LOVEBIRDS! I LOVE LOVE LOVE VALENTINES DAY! May my social media feeds be FILLED with soppy drool-filled posts, kisses, declarations of love and most importantly, the 'he did good' posts (when you know very well you picked the present yourself 😂). LET PEOPLE CELEBRATE LOVE THE WAY THEY WANT TO AND MIND YOUR BUS-I-NESS! I for one am the gooey-est romantic ever and lucky for me I'm married to an even BIGGER one! So much mushiness under our roof! I feel loved every day of my life, but have a hubby who surprises me with something every Valentine's Day. Last year we went go-karting. Random? Yes. Points for effort? Hell yeah! Flowers or not? Dinner dates or not? Social media shout outs or not? Whether you believe in it or not? Each to their own! SHUTUP AND LET PEOPLE LOVE HOW THEY WANT TO LOVE. Love haterz! Throwback to when these madly in love teenagers went to Katy Perry together. Because that is true love. Sitting through Katy Perry for your new girlfriend💘💘💘
Adani's Australian CEO — Jeyakumar Janakaraj — was head of another mining company when it poisoned Zambia's Kafue River so badly it changed colour. The river is the lifeblood for many of Zambia's people. Crops died, people got sick, and people died.
Welcome to The RED HEART Campaign's memorial to women and children who have lost their lives to violence in Australia. We have chosen to give no start or end date for this ongoing collection of photographs. This gallery exists to honour and remember those who deserved to live long and happy lives full of peace, love and laughter, but were never given the chance. We have chosen Banksy's Girl With A Balloon to commemorate those women and children for whom we do not have photographs or cannot picture for cultural reasons. If you have photos and/or the details of women or children lost to domestic violence, family violence, sexual violence or any other form of violence to add to this memorial, please PM The RED HEART Campaign Facebook page. While The RED HEART Campaign's founder Sherele Moody is responsible for the research that makes this project possible, we also acknowledge the efforts of Destroy the Joint's Counting Dead Women Australia project.
Yesterday I took the debate about Australia Post to the floor of the Senate.
What seems clear is that the salary of Ahmed Fahour, the CEO, is so excessive it is disgusting. What is more, the salaries of the other executives also seem to be excessive.
To make matters worse, while those at the top seem happy to line their pockets, the essential services guaranteed to all Australians in Australia Post's community guidelines are being outsourced to remote and regional operators who are being treated unfairly.
Regional postal operators are being taken advantage of because Australia Post seems to be looking for ways to skirt their obligation, maximize their profits and disadvantage everyday Australians.
